The ceramic tile in the Mudroom, 1/2 Bath, Laundry area showing the transition tiles in one of the doorways. The tile is still hazy and hasn't been cleaned with vinegar after grouting.

Five bags of leveling compund mixed and poured and the electric floor heat is sealed in place.

The electric floor heating cables in the Master Bath. The heating cable is kept away from the toilet a repectable distance (otherwise the wax seal melts!) and the cable is not under the vanities.

The electric heating cables in the Master bath that will be under the ceramic tile floor.
Spreading thinset for the tile backerboard, a concrete board product. I cut and installed 40+ sheets (3' x 5' and 4' x 4') as underlayment for the ceramic floor tile in four areas of the house.

Nailing the backerboard in place. I borrowed a coil roofing nailer (thank goodness!) which made it fun to shoot the galvanized roofing nails in.

The Den built-in cabinet. There is still crown molding and some small trim at the wall yet to go on.

The stairway railing.

One of the 2 Great Room built-in cabinets. This cabinet is made for a TV to be placed on top of the base. There will be crown molding across the top of the bookcase.

The front door arch window being trimmed.

Jeff Spivey of Precision Woodworking finishing the trim on the den built-in cabinet. The trim piece that he's putting on has already been stained and finished because, basically, the painters got carried away pre-finishing the trim material.

Starting up the geothermal heating system. They had to wire in the loop circulating pump (middle picture) and put on a temporary thermostat to get heat in the house for the trim carpenters and painters.

The base cabinets of the Great T=Room built-ins in place.

The base cabinet for the Den built-in being brought in.

The beginning of the stair trimout. Do you see a problem here?
