Our latest happening: Linda got rear-ended by a semi-truck Fiday evening on the interstate which sent her to the hospital by ambulance. Thankfully nothing was broken or bleeding internally and the doctors sent her home with an apparent concussion, some stitches/staples and significant bruising and soreness. We have much to be grateful for!

The 400 amp electrical service on the outside of the house, wired and ready for utility power. The center panel is the utility meter base where the power will come in through the large gray conduit that extends underground. The two side panels are 200 amp circuit breakers that feed the separate breaker panels in the basement and garage via the shorter conduits on each side. The two thin conduits going down to ground level protect the ground wires going out to the 8' ground rods. Austin helped me pull the heavy feed wires from the garage to here; I couldn't have done it without his help, him pulling and me pushing - it was an ordeal!

Water and drain piping in the utility room had to snake around the geothermal unit and ductwork. The drain piping (white pipes) only has gravity to work with, so they went in first. The copper water supply piping ended up going up, down, and around to get through this area!

More water and drain piping in the basement utility hallway.

Evan reworking the basement stairs to the garage. They had been framed in such a way that pushed them forward causing a headroom clearance problem. Moving them back allows the headroom to meet the code requirement. Evan did a nice job on this!
